The strings are good but they broke in under 30 hits must have been the stringing service

Sorry to hear that your string broke after fewer than 30 hits. However, 27 lbs is already a relatively high tension, especially with the mains at 27 lbs and crosses at 30 lbs. At this tension, the string has very little tolerance for mishits, and even one off-center hit can cause the string to break.
